Within The Bracken Pack there are some cases of obscure or unused content. A collection of which are as follows:

Obscure Content / Easter Eggs[]

Alphie[]

There is an easter egg that is similar to something like Dinnerbone or jeb_. If you name a dog _Alphie_ after a few seconds the name will turn purple. This dog will be slightly stronger and, upon death, will drop a spawn egg that will spawn another "Alphie" when used.

Dormis Slab Text[]

There are slabs that generate in Dormis which read various messages in the Galactic Alphabet, better known as the language the Enchantment table uses. It can be assumed the messages a portion of the Fractal Codes. These symbols can be translated into messages, which are as follows:

TO DIE OF LOVE IS TO LIVE BY IT

THOSE WHO DO NOT WEEP DO NOT SEE

NOT BEING HEARD IS NO REASON FOR SILENCE

PEOPLE DO NOT LACK STRENGTH THEY LACK WILL

Project Ruination[]

Project Ruination says phrases in binary during the boss fight. These can be translated as well, and there are different messages depending on what ending you get. The translations are as follows:

First phase[]

01001001 00100000 01101110 01100101 01100101 01100100 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 01110010 00100000 01110000 01101111 01110111 01100101 01110010 = I need your power

Second Phase[]

01001001 00100000 01110111 01101001 01101100 01101100 00100000 01100010 01101111 01110010 01110010 01101111 01110111 00100000 01100110 01110010 01101111 01101101 00100000 01100001 01101110 00100000 01100001 01101100 01101100 01111001 = I will borrow from an ally

Third Phase[]

01111-01 011011-1 01110101 00100000 0110-111 01101001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01101101 01100101 00100-00 01101110 0110-111 00100000 01100011 011-1000 01101111 01101001 01100011 011-0101

Things get complicated here, if this is translated, you will get u ive men coic. (each is an unidentified character) This is because of the dashes in the message. If you replace the dashes with 0's and 1's correctly, then translate it, you will get the true message:

01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100111 01101001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01101101 01100101 00100000 01101110 01101111 00100000 01100011 01101000 01101111 01101001 01100011 01100101 = you give me no choice

Ending[]

01100001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01001001 00100000 01100011 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01100101 01101110 01100100 01100101 01100100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 01101101 00100000 01100001 01101100 01101100 00101110 00101110 00101110 = and I could have ended them all...

Secret Ending[]

The secret ending for PR involves letting the boss use the "Drain Phase" several times, around 50-100. As you continue to do this, the Drain Phase will occur more rapidly, ending in an almost constant drain. After you do this enough times, the boss will disappear and leave behind a few cakes. This is a reference to the Portal franchise. It will also allow you to enter the vault as usual. The First Phase message is the same, and the normal ending message still displays.

After you get this ending, you will get the advancement "Ruination Validation".

If you defeat PR as an Automech, it will say "you lucked out" in binary instead of the usual ending message.

Unused/Removed Content[]

Giant Phantom[]

There is an unused boss referred to as the Giant Phantom in the pack's files. The boss can only be summoned with the /function command. The boss consists of a witch riding a large, glowing phantom. Both the witch and the phantom have increased health and damage. The witch will usually drop a nether star, and the phantom will drop an elytra.

Dormis Box Dungeon[]

Dormis Box Dungeon

In old versions of the pack, there used to be a dungeon known as the Dormis Box Dungeon. This was a complicated, maze-like dungeon with several layers. The dungeon would be covered in glass, which vanished upon entering the structure. It also had its own unique loot, which is still in the files to this day, and can be accessed via the /loot command.

There appears to be more writing, but you are unable to comprehend it.
