The Brackenpack adds various new Magic books, or as they are sometimes called, Ability books. These Magic books can serve as weapons, support tools, utilities, or making a house. Every book costs Experience levels, with some having very low costs, ranging from Returning Tides, which only costs 1 level, to The Book of Arbitrium, which costs 50 levels. To use a book, you need to right click while holding the book, and you also must have more or the same amount of experience levels as the cost. Magic books can be found by defeating bosses, looting structures, or killing mobs.
[NOTE: It is recommended to use the resource pack, as the books use "carrot on a stick" as their base and may look jarring without it and you would also be supporting the awesome texture work of YoannBB2.]
Fireball[]
Fireball book texture
Summons a stationary fireball that can be punched to fly in the given direction. Consumes 5 levels upon use. It is one of the most common magic books, as it can be found in some Underdark structures, the Sanctum Pillar, and the Dormis hanging cage structure.
Lightning Bolt[]
Lighting Bolt book texture
Summons a lightning bolt at the user's location, instantly teleporting them and all players within a 3 block radius to the Varskspace dimension. Consumes 25 levels. This book can be found in Varskspace locator spires.
Iron Golem[]
Iron Golem book texture
Summons an iron golem near the user to protect them from hostile mobs. Consumes 5 levels of experience. Can be found within the confines of the secret chest in the Omnidrome library.
Tetra Slime[]
Tetra Slime book texture
Creates an enormous amalgamation of giant slimes with enhanced movement speed. Consumes 12. Can be obtained after defeating the Sporangium boss in Panacea, or crafted at a Chlorocrafter.
Fang Attack
Fang Attack book texture
Summons three snapping fangs at the location of entities more than 3 blocks away from the user up to 30 blocks away. It is found in the ruined building structure in Sanctum. Consumes 2 levels.
Flying Boat[]
Flying Boat book texture
Summons a glowing, hovering, boat. It is found in the Faewild towers and Faewild Dell Cottage structures. Consumes 2 levels. Can be bought from a Ferryman fae trader, and also Keeperscouts in some versions.
Mass Heal
Mass Heal book texture
Grants the instant health, regeneration, and the saturation effect to all entities within a 10 block radius of the user. Consumes 2. Located inside of the Faewild Pool structure.
Kill
Kill book texture
Gives all entities instant damage x7 within a 2 block radius of the user including the user itself. Consumes 10. Found within the belly of the Magnificent Mansion, inside a grey pearl.
Truelight Glow[]
Truelight glow book texture
Makes all entities within a 100 block radius of the user, including the user, glow for 10 seconds. It is found in the Underdark spider nest structure, as well as a rare drop from Marauders in Sanctum. It is also a great way to battle Marauders, as it reveals their position. Consumes 3.
Adamantine Will[]
Adamantine Will book texture
Grants resistance effect x10 for 30 seconds and wither to the user for 35 seconds. It is found in the Dormis hanging cage structure. Requires and consumes 7.
World Soar[]
World Soar book texture
Grants the user the levitation effect x90 for 1 second, as well as fall damage immunity for 10 seconds. Requires and consumes 2 levels. Can be found in Faewild pool structures. Can also be bought from Keeperscout Faefolk, although in some versions, it was a Flying Boat book that looked identical to World Soar.
Frostlock
Frostlock book texture
Summons an area of effect cloud with a 25 block radius that grants slowness x10 to all players in contact with it. All players (excluding team Frostkin) within 8 blocks of the center also become unable to jump. Gained by killing the Bygone Viceroy. Consumes 5.
Scatterstorm[]

All players within a 20 block radius of the user are teleported to a random location 20 to 30 blocks away. Requires and consumes 3. Can be found in the Den part of the Sanctum Dungeon.
Crimson Spark[]
Crimson Spark book texture
Creates several powerful firework explosions upon activation. This book can be found within the beached pirate ship structure in The Brine. Consumes 4 levels.
Swordfall[]
Swordfall book texture
Creates a giant sword that is directed by the user, dealing heavy damage to anything it touches. Consumes 12. Can be found from killing pirate ship captains.
Worm-toothed burrower[]
Worm-Toothed Burrower book texture
Creates a giant pickaxe that spirals downward, carving a spiral tunnel in it's path (demonstration). Can destroy any block, including bedrock, but is disabled in the End dimension. Consumes 25. Drops from Solatium Thrall.
Great Nullifier[]
Great Nullifier book texture
The user is surrounded by a cloud of sparkling particles, clearing all entities within a 10-block radius of all effects. The NBT data of mobs within the radius are also changed. Horses become instantly tamed, creeper explosions get neutralized, and vexes and endermites have their short lifetimes made even shorter. Consumes 2. Kill The Disruptor boss in the Omnidrome to collect this book.
Returning Tides[]
Returning Tides book texture
Brings the user back to a waypoint created by using book while standing atop an enchanting table. It can be found in the Brine sponge tower and there is 33% chance to find it in a Pax double tree structure. Works in every dimension, aside from Dormis, which makes it very useful in hard-to-leave dimensions, as well as when you need to go back to your base. Must wait 3 seconds of standing still before proper use. Consumes 1 level, making it the cheapest book to use.
Magnificent Mansion[]

Creates a pocket mansion within the void. Each player with this book will have their own mansion when used. Portal can be used back and forth for travel. Use the book again whilst out of the void to close the portal. Drops from Project Ruination. Costs 20 levels to use the first time and 2 levels every subsequent use.
Book of Arbitrium[]

This book allows a player to change races and is found in the Pax Double Tree structure. Consumes 50 levels. Is not consumed upon use.
Species Beginner Book[]
Species Beginner Book texture
This book is given to a player when they first spawn in a world, allows them to choose a species once. It consumes no experience.
