Overview[]

Panacea is the primal jungle world of The Bracken Pack.

Those entering this realm will experience an increase in health and vitality, at the cost of a constant hunger effect. Some of the structures house honey blocks, slime blocks, and emerald blocks. However, when it rains, Panacea will become more dangerous, and rewarding.

To enter this dimension, you must wear a creeper head while looking directly at a creeper in close proximity. You must do this again to leave the dimension. You can also go to the bottom of the dimension to travel to The Void.

Update #37 saw Panacea's world height increase to 384 blocks tall.

Note that due to the special lighting in this dimension the large trees can create dark areas very quickly.

Update #49 Added chlorocrafter to panacea biome, allowing players to craft vitality armor from leather armor and spore drops. It is crafted by going to the Panacea dimension and placing an item frame containing bone meal on top of a crafting table block. It also added spore drops to death loot table of mobs within the Panacea dimension.

Structures[]

-The sweltering swamp biome has a giant pitcher plant structure that detonates if players get too close to its central flower. Players that fall in might get pulled underwater and killed by the drowned mobs that spawn there. However, killing a drowned has a chance of dropping leather armor that increases player hp when worn. At the bottom of the plant in the center hides a couple of honey blocks if one is willing to endure the venture.

-Giant lily pads can be found in the hungering jungle biome. The lily pads have a bee spawner at their center as well as an emerald block directly below it. The bees have a small chance of dropping hp boosting loot as well.

The Creeper Temple structure can be found in the creeper dominion biome. It is an overgrown building with creeper spawners located in each of the four towers and pavilion. The 'perfect' creeper is located in the center. Caves spiders are also located in this structure, but great rewards await the players who brave this structure.

The Sprout structure can found in the horsetail tropics biome. At the top of this structure sits four melon blocks with glow berry vines hanging from its branches.

Biomes[]

The Bamboo Valley biome contains lots of bamboo and hoglins spawn naturally there.

The Creeper Dominion biome is a moss covered biome with lots of bone blocks and nether quartz ore jutting out of its surfaces. It can be rewarding, however the creeper spawn rate in darkness is extremely high. The Creeper Temple can also be found here. Beneath the surface, nether quartz ore is plentiful.

The Ravenous Greenwood biome contains large spruce and jungle trees as well as passive wildlife including cows. You can also find the Giant Tree Stump and the Tetra Tree structures in this biome.

The Hungering Jungle biome contains jungle and oak trees as well as large mushrooms and passive wildlife. Giant lily pads can be found in this biome.

The Sweltering Swamp biome is a watery-biome that contains large willows and mushrooms. Piglins naturally spawn here. The giant pitcher plant is located in this biome.

The Honeybee biome is a very unique biome. Bees can spawn naturally here, and beehives, honeycomb blocks, and especially honey blocks are abundant here. This biome tends to be smaller than other biomes on average though, so it's a rare, yet rewarding find.

The Quicksand springs biome is looks similar to the hungering jungle biome except for occasional fossils and mud traps(aka quicksand). Players must be careful when traversing this biome as they can become caught in quicksand if they are not careful. Dehydrated Venithrubs will spawn here.

The Condemned taiga biome is a scorched environment with basalt, blackstone, and dead coral covering its landscape. Ash rises from the ground and a foreboding darkness covers this area.

The Polypore plains biome is densely covered in giant mushrooms of both the red and brown variants. Mooshrooms will spawn here.

The Horsetail Tropics biome contains large pillars of mangrove roots throughout. The giant sprout structure can also be found here. Groups of sniffers can be found here occasionally.

The Wildflower Bog biome contains flowers and vegetation of wide variety. It is also home to the Giant fern structure. Similarly to the Horsetail biome, sniffers will occasionally be found wandering in groups here.

Rain Event[]

When it rains in Panacea, it becomes far more dangerous, yet there is also exclusive loot that can be only be found during the event. Many mobs will turn into stronger versions of themselves. Here is a list of all the mobs affected by the event and how they are:

Piglins will turn into Piglin Brutes in the Sweltering Swamp.

Gothrums can be found riding spiders and using a weapon called the Gothrum Fang. This weapon can drop, and it functions like an iron sword but with a lifesteal effect.

Creepers will turn into Charged creepers named Perrterrors. These creepers will create a "cocoon" of oak leaves around them when they explode, which will eventually decay. Be careful though, they still deal the same amount of damage as a normal charged creeper. They have two drops, Perrterror Gastor and the Creeper Horn. Perrterror Gastor will create a cocoon of leaves around you, similar to the mob it comes from. The Creeper Horn teleports all nearby creeper to you. It is intended to be a joke item, however it can be used for farms, to enter/leave Panacea, or, obviously, to prank your friends.

Dehydrated Venithrubs will become normal, hydrated venithrubs. Hydrated Venithrubs are wither skeletons. These Venithrubs will drop Lembas Breadfruit, which can refill your entire hunger bar.

Yakkittuba will become hydrated and grow to an enormous size. They will drop an item called "yakkittuba hide" which can be consumed for several short buffs.

Lore[]

Panacea is a primeval world, untainted by civilization. It’s wild influence enhances the presence of its native flora and fauna, which almost seem drawn to devouring any artificial structures. Those entering this realm will experience an increase in health and vitality, at the potential cost of losing sanity and civility given enough time.

Hunters are a race of plant-like organisms residing in Panacea who live for the stalking and killing of any creatures it can to eat. They are often hired as assassins, as they are very adept at killing, and can harness the powers into their DNA for any creature they consume. They also often hunt and kill in packs, making them one of the most deadly and powerful races in all of The Bracken Pack.
