This is a simple overview of each species' in-game abilities. For a more in depth look at each species' lore and story, take a look here.

Automech: 8+ base armor. Saturation when standing on redstone blocks or when in the Omnidrome. Reduced base speed and receives a harsh slowness effect when in water.

Dweller: Permanent night vision and haste effects. Receives the hunger effect when their food bar is near full. Gets the darkness effect when exposed to sunlight or light level 15.

Enderling: By sneaking and right clicking, can teleport to a viewed location within a certain radius, can teleport longer distances in the end. Increased teleport distance when eating chorus fruit to 100 blocks. Takes damage in water and rain. Cannot teleport while anything in offhand

Faefolk: Increased movement speed and jump boost. Passively gains experience points over time, although much less than the exp you get in faewild. You deal 15% less damage.

Frostkin: +4 base armor, and is immune to slowness and poison as well. Never drops below 15 hunger and cannot starve. Receives wither effect when in lava or fire. Immune to the withering waters in Glacium

Human: Always has Hero of the Village 5 and Luck 5 effects. Has unluck 5 in other dimensions.

Hunter: Gains a variety of effects when consuming uncooked food. Has constant hunger. Receives a brief poison effect when switching between or consuming a different food type.

Nereid: Receives many buffs, such as Water Breathing, Dolphin's Grace, Night Vision, and Haste while underwater. Reduced base movement speed on land.

Netherkin: Permanent Fire Resistance and Night Vision. Receives a strength boost when on fire, in lava, or in the nether. Gets the wither effect in rain or water.

Outlander: Can turn invisible after staying still for a few seconds. Both receives the mining fatigue debuff and cannot turn invisible while in Sanctum. Has a backstab ability that deals additional damage to players and mobs when attacked from behind.

Realmkeeper: Receives a strong absorption effect once every 10 seconds. The effect lasts for 9 seconds. Only works when players are near full health or are wearing full gold armor. Absorption effect is disabled when in low light level areas. Players wearing armor levels higher than full gold receive glowing and weakness effects.

Villain: Players have increased attack damage and base armor, but always have bad luck and bad omen. Iron golems are hostile toward Villain players.
