The Sporangium Boss unleashed
The Mature Sporangium (or Sporangium) is a giant slime boss located at the top of the Tetra tree structure in Panacea.
Attacks & Phases[]
- Poison arrow attack: The boss levitates while rapidly firing poisonous arrows outwardly in 8 directions. Arrows fire too quickly for shields to block multiple strikes reliably.
- Slime eruption: The boss summons a multitude of medium-sized slimes above it. The slimes have the slow fall effect and gently float down around the boss.
- Deca slime summon: A minion is summoned consisting of stacked slimes. The slimes are affected by both the resistance and strength potion effects.
- Health bomb: The boss teleports most slimes to its location and heals itself slightly. The boss also levitates when this happens and may jump quickly in a random direction. The boss also teleports all nearby baby slimes to the player. This may knock the player down if they are towering or squish them to death if they are in an enclosed space.
2nd Phase
Upon critically low levels of health, the Boss will start to transform, rapidly summoning slimes and making them swarm around it chaotically, whilst also repeating the same attacks.

Sporangium will drop a Panacea portal key, a tetra slime ability book, and a Mortal cull axe
Notes[]
- Be careful after you defeat the Sporangium, as a last ditch effort, it will summon a tetra slime to attack the player.
- The Sporangium boss is too large of a slime for most melee attacks to reach its hitbox and deals high amounts of damage. Ranged weapons or ability books might be more effective against it.
- Fang Attack can be very useful for clearing out the excess slimes.
