Overview[]
The Underdark is the cave dimension of The Bracken Pack and is great place to locate diamonds, gold and more. A more expansive open cave system is located near the top of the dimension, with more ores in the upper limits of the realm as opposed to the smaller cave systems down below. Small patches of Blackstone and bedrock lines the walls, floors and ceilings of the area.
Accessing the Underdark is accessed by digging to bedrock level in the Overworld.
The Underdark also features a custom mob called the Lost Miner, a passive Illager carrying an iron pickaxe and a diamond. Upon death, there is a rare chance the lost miner will drop a diamond with a note attached.
Be wary of entering The Nether dimension through The Underdark, as to go back to the Underdark you have to go past the bedrock ceiling. Because of this it is recommended to have some obsidian, a lightning book, or some other way of leaving the nether before going down.
Structures[]
A typical Giant Web.
-The Giant Web structure spawns in the gravel zone and contains cave spiders and shellbreaker spiders with enhanced attack damage, nearly equating to double. Loot necessary for survival as well as things like poison arrows are hidden in barrels surrounding ensnared wagons. Be wary when looting this structure as it contains a ridiculous amount of spider webs, as well as dangerous spiders.

-The Fossilized Giant Nautilus structure is located in the eroded biome and is very hard to find, but contains nether gold ore inside its core. Usually you can find it buried underground, but you may also encounter it floating in the air, as pictured on the right.

Inside the twice-abandoned mineshaft
-The Diamond Crystal Block spawns in the crystal caves biome, and contains high amounts of valuable diamond ore, including several diamond blocks at the center. Due to its intrinsic value, it, along with the biome, are VERY hard to find. You can imagine the celebration of one who finds this structure.
A weathered titan helm
The Twice Abandonded Mineshaft structure consists of several interconnected rooms and paths. Some rooms contain rewards like gold or Redstone blocks, while others contain hazards like ravagers and hoglins. Path may also contain rivers of lava or spawners that create clouds of poisonous gas. The Unsung boss can also be found in this structure. This structure is found in the Titan Dripstone Cavern biome.
The Helm of The Forgotten Titan structure can be found the Titan dripstone cavern. This giant helm is a lost piece of armor from war long ago.
An EoDS hidden within the walls of a cavern
The Egg of Deadly Surprises structure is located in the Eroded Basin biome. It is an egg-shaped structure made of infested stone that will detonate when a player gets too close, releasing copious amounts of silverfish. Players must be careful with cave exploration as these structures can be found hidden in the walls.
The Mushroom Monument is found in the Ruby Fungi Forest biome. It first appears to be a bigger giant mushroom. However, this is the only place where the Polyfolus miniboss can be found, which is a husk wearing mushroom gear that has a chance to duplicate upon death. Sweeping Edge is recommended. If you get past the mobs, there is a treasure room underneath the structure.
Biomes[]
The Crystal Caves is a rare biome that contains an abundance of giant crystal-like structures made of stained glass. A large abundance of diamonds and emeralds can be found here, almost double to triple the amount found elsewhere. An even rarer diamond crystal block structure spawns in this biome. Be wary of the many guardians that also spawn in this biome, despite many of them being out of water.
The Eroded Basin biome is a large-ravine like biome. Loads of blackstone and basalt blocks decorate the ground beneath. It contains waterfalls and many ores, especially emerald. You may encounter lost miners here, which as stated before have a small chance to drop a diamond with a note when killed. Magma cubes and silverfish are also common here.
The Titan Dripstone Cavern contains an abundance of gigantic stalactites and stalagmites made of pure dripstone. You can also find the giant web, the twice abandoned mineshaft, and Titan helmet structures here.
The Petrified Forest contains waterfalls and fossilized trees that sometimes contain cobwebs. The ground here is also made of tuff. Watch out for silverfish, though. Large amounts of infested stone is located under the big "trees" in this biome.
The Ruby Fungi Forest biome is sprawling with mushrooms of all sort of shapes and sizes. Most of the ground here is made of mycelium.
Lore[]
The Underdark is a land of bountiful riches and dangers. Dwellers are a stone-like species who live in complex societies here, making fortunes crafting and trading with other nations.
