Tinkertech is the common, steampunk-esque technology widely used by Outlanders. Developed to help them travel the Cornucopia easier, it's a tech fueled by a mini-steam boiler that is usually placed within the synthetic body part to allow them to maneuver around without having to carry a giant boiler on their backs. This tech is very malleable, so Outlanders have been able to modify themselves in various ways to help their journeys. Certain technology, however, still requires special alloys for fuel, such as the synthetic stomachs, which still needs some form of fuel to run steady.
