Hallway leading up to the Unsung boss

Unsung is a humanoid-type boss within the Underdark with a mask and several floating sword surrounding his perimeter when summoned. To summon him, locate an end of a hallway marked with red banners within the "twice abanonded mineshaft" structure, and he trapped inside a large obsidian cube. Break this cube to start the fight. The boss possesses 200 hearts, a large player follow range, and full leather armor enchanted with thorns x3. The boss wields a weapon called the "Paxmaker sword," which possesses a high degree of damage and knockback. Eight levitating swords orbit around the boss and affect nearby entities with the instant damage potion effect. The swords can also deflect arrows and instantly break any kind of block they run into.

  • Explode: In which the Unsung briefly becomes invulnerable and detonates tnt above its head.
  • Swordswirl: The swords' orbit doubles in size and move at 10x their default speed. The Unsung's movement speed also increases.

Notes[]

  • Players can greatly weaken the Unsung by "stealing" its swords. Clicking swords with an empty hand places them in the player's inventory; however, clicking them with an item in hand will swap that item with a sword.
    • If the player steals all 8 swords, the boss cannot use any sword-based attacks.

Lore[]

Unsung is an ancient willless thing that used to live in Pax but was lost and forgotten until mining Dwellers unearthed it. The mine was then rediscovered and subsequently re-abandoned by the lost miners years later, hence the name, Twice Abandoned Mineshaft. Those who know of it only refer to it as Unsung because its existence isn't recorded in any known records.
