Varsktech is an incredibly powerful rare technology that uses Varskspace as a battery to power magically electric devices and contraptions. The earliest iterations of Varsktech were constructed after The Traveler came back from his exploration from The Void. It is unknown how the Ancient Council members got their hands on Varsktech before mortals discovered Varskspace, but it is theorized that the Builder and Traveler amicably worked together for very short amount of time. Varsktech is, commonly described as using speed to act as a magical battery to power contraptions. At greatest extent, Varsktech can do what Omnitech can do on a much lesser scale, like create constructs, holograms, build cities with it, etc etc in any dimension.
The technology itself is powered by harnessing Varskrifts that rarely appear in Varskspace to be used in capcitors. This capacitor siphons the Varskrifts and attunes itself to a particular Outlander or user, in order to route power to specific areas. The most promising applications of Varsktech do something to further the Traveler’s will, i.e.. communications, travel, or transplanting aspects of one dimension onto another. Varsktech might also be used to temporarily reduce an object’s momentum, immediately change the speed of an object without damaging it, or catalyze a reaction in a setting that would otherwise be impossible, such as cold-fusion. The usage of any Varsktech has been banned in Dormis by orders of The Judge in order to lessen the impact of escapes into Varskspace.
